Yes! The 2014 Federal Farm Bill legalized the “cultivation of hemp for the purposes of research conducted under an agricultural pilot program designed to study the growth, cultivation, or marketing of industrial hemp”. The short answer is yes, but there is still reason to be cautious when traveling with CBD Hemp Oil. TSA updated its “What can I bring?” page on medical marijuana to note that passengers can now fly with hemp derived CBD oil that is legal under the 2018 Farm Bill and medication approved by the FDA.
