Many (if not all) of us did not even know we had an Endocannabinoid System (ECS) before starting to supplement with phytocannabinoids like cannabidiol (CBD). We didn’t know our ECS is responsible for helping the body maintain homeostasis or its ability to maintain inner balance. 1.   Is CBD Hemp Oil legal in all 50 states?

Yes! The 2014 Federal Farm Bill legalized the “cultivation of hemp for the purposes of research conducted under an agricultural pilot program designed to study the growth, cultivation, or marketing of industrial hemp”. Our customers often ask us about the difference between Quicksilver Scientific “Broad Spectrum” and “Full Spectrum” products. To understand this, let’s begin with the hemp plant. Hemp comes from the plant strain Cannabis sativa, as does marijuana. Another strain that shows up more often as marijuana is Cannabis indica. Regardless of the strain, or whether it is hemp or marijuana, cannabis contains hundreds of plant compounds. The short answer is yes, but there is still reason to be cautious when traveling with CBD Hemp Oil. TSA updated its “What can I bring?” page on medical marijuana to note that passengers can now fly with hemp derived CBD oil that is legal under the 2018 Farm Bill and medication approved by the FDA.
